Description

Pierre-Auguste Cot was a French painter born in 1837. He studied under Leon Cogniet, Alexandre Cabanel and William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Cot also was renowned for his portraits, which made up the majority of his work. He died in Paris 1883. ‘The Storm’ by Cot was painted in 1880. Classic version also available.
