Description
Jacques-Louis David was a French painter in the Neoclassical style. Born in Paris on 30 August 1748, David was, in his time, regarded as the leading painter in France, and arguably all of Western Europe. He died December 1825, aged 77. ‘Marat Assassinated’ by David painted in 1793. Twist and funky versions are also available.
