John Singer Sargent was an American expatriate artist, considered the ‘leading portrait painter of his generation’. Born in Florence to American parents in 1856. He trained in Paris before moving to London. He lived in Europe for most of his life until his death at his home in London in 1925. ‘A Street In Venice’ by Sargent was painted between 1880 and 1882. Twist and funky versions are also available.
